How this tool works
Rockwood expanded earlier Tossy/Allman three-grade schemes into six types that incorporate CC ligament status and the vector of clavicle displacement (superior, posterior, inferior). Types I–II are typically nonoperative; type III management is debated; types IV–VI usually warrant surgical consideration. Bilateral weighted views help separate type III from V by CC distance.
