EU-TIRADS / ATA / Kwak-TIRADS
EU-TIRADS 2017; ATA 2015; Kwak TIRADS 2011Single form that applies European EU-TIRADS, American Thyroid Association 2015 sonographic patterns, or Kwak TIRADS to the same ultrasound feature set and returns the risk category plus size-based FNA threshold for the selected system.

How this tool works
Multiple thyroid nodule risk-stratification systems share overlapping ultrasound descriptors—composition, echogenicity, shape, margins, and echogenic foci—but differ in how features are combined and when biopsy is recommended. EU-TIRADS (Russ / ETA 2017) is pattern-based with four high-risk features that immediately assign category 5. ATA 2015 maps nodules into benign through high-suspicion patterns with size cut-offs of 1, 1.5, or 2 cm. Kwak TIRADS (2011) simply counts five suspicious features to yield categories 3–5. Selecting a system reuses a consistent feature list so the same nodule description can be scored under each framework without re-entry. ACR TI-RADS is intentionally not included here (separate calculator). Management always incorporates clinical context, TSH, and patient preference.
