How this tool works
TASC II (Inter-Society Consensus for the Management of Peripheral Arterial Disease, 2007) stratifies chronic atherosclerotic lesions by length, multiplicity, calcification, and involvement of key junctions (CFA, popliteal trifurcation). Type A favors endovascular therapy; type D favors surgery; types B and C are individualized. Tables are segment-specific.
