CEAP Classification

How this tool works

CEAP (Clinical–Etiologic–Anatomic–Pathophysiologic) is the international reporting standard for chronic venous disorders (American Venous Forum; revised 2004, updated 2020). Basic CEAP is used for clinical communication; advanced CEAP adds numbered venous segments. This tool produces basic CEAP.
