CO-RADS

CO-RADS (COVID-19 Reporting and Data System) was developed by the Dutch Radiological Society for standardized chest CT reporting in patients with moderate-to-severe symptoms of suspected COVID-19. Categories 1–5 express increasing radiologic likelihood of COVID-19 pneumonia; category 0 is reserved for technically inadequate studies and category 6 for RT-PCR–confirmed infection regardless of CT appearance. Typical very-high-suspicion features include bilateral, peripheral, and basal-predominant ground-glass opacities with or without consolidations, crazy paving, and vascular enlargement. The system is intended for use in moderate-to-high prevalence settings and should be integrated with symptom duration and clinical pretest probability.
